I have seen many wharez sites. Like phazeddl.com, katz.ws, crackserver.com, ddl2.com mscracks.com etc. why people do not take any action against them?

Because they are in countries unaffected by US or Europe's copyright laws. Most of them are from russia, vietnam, and china.

It's warez to be precise ...
Now bro the thing is, most of the sites only link to content and donot host it on their site, the content is hosted either on "servers bought using a fraud method" , or Russian or Swedish servers.
As a result, no one moves up to take any action against them.
The Internet is a universal issue, but the laws are country-based :) ...
    Hence the problem.

For one thing, they are not located in american or uk countries.

Secondly, they use softwares such as TOR etc, that let you create a server through a proxy and anonymous link it with no possible way to be tracked.

Also, they probably constantly change thier servers.

What is your purpose in posting the names of these sites?

As a word of warning to the curious. I googled a couple of the sites.

At mscracks.com I got infected with a computer virus. I am still scanning to make sure I have gotten rid of everything and I will be doing a registry check before allowing the machine to reboot.

The first one in the list does not seem to do anything. I have not checked the others. Obviously, I will need to set up a VM if I am going to look further.

It loaded several infected files to my computer and immediately created an unkillable connection. Once the infected files were removed to the AVG vault, the connection was broken.

It does piss me off when I find that one of my download urls are listed in a warez site.

This happens not too often, as my download urls are hidden in their own password protected folder.

So by extension, anyone that uses such sites piss me off!

Buy PC-cillin from trend micro, so you won't have these problems again.
It is really good, I haven't seen anything that can pass it. ;)

yes, very many warez sites contains virusses and spywares that is not so easy to remove. But how about warez forums, are they also without responsibility about their content ?

ps. I saw many adsense advertises on warez sites, if I report it to Google will they remove their accounts ?

    Ok lol,

    1) Not all warez sites have trojans etc... those are only the noob warez sites, if you are into the scene you will see that the best sites are the forums... And the bes tone don't even have ads on them... and are without popups...

Well I don't have anything against the warez users, some people like to pay the big companies, some don't, it's thier choice.

Also indeed most warez servers are hosted in China or Russia... no laws there about warez...

    So you can't do anything...

    Peace

They usually add the following statement, or something alike

And the server hosting demonoid is in holland. Holland is in europe. I will be honest, but they do host torrent sites in europe. America and the UK (and maybe germany?) are the only countrys which you would avoid. I could if i wanted to, get a server in canada and make a torrent site there.

What would they do? NOTHING! Which is good for me anyway, because i use torrents all the time.

Yes, they will. I've seen warez sites with adsense one month and next month their ads are gone.
