    I have a avi file which is not playing

    it is

    Encoded
    DivX VBR Q=12

    can some one guide me on how to play this avi file.

    Did you try with VideoLan- VLC Media Player?

    Me too suggested the Same Player via PM

    Also try GOM Player. I am 100% sure you'll be able to run your file.

    Ok Mate Hope it will work fine in future :) :)

    Any Divx, avi file can easily be run in VLC Player, there are many media codecs which Windows Media Player is unable to decode and hence such files do not run on WMP.

    Always opt for VLC in such issue.

    Anywyay, if u wanna play it on wmp or another player, install a codec pack like K-Lite Codec Pack

    It is surprise that you got the similar answer as ours after posting this thread.

    It is not all about money mate, but ya when we have served for you. You must appreciate the quick responses. I sent you 2 PM's but you didn't even care to reply either of them.

    Instead after seeing our responses you got to know that it was an easy crack. Atleast you must have replied to each one of the thread participants.

    After i posted here i found on the same place where people posted comments about having issues with playing the file and one guy said to use VLC player.

    Any how thanks again s7_tycoon i appreciate your help.
