I therefore presume most do not click on either of the two warnings. What are the warnings about? Is this a recent thing?
Haven't seen any .co.cc recently on my proxy lists recently, so there is no need to act now. Maybe the .co.cc registrar has cracked down on them.
Does anyone use Clicksor on proxies? Maybe clicksor on proxiefied pages? Clicksor TOS do not seem to cover proxies, so if anybody knows please let me know.
I found this here - http://admin.clicksor.com/myfaq/article.php?id=119 "Can I display advertisements from Clicksor on my proxy site? We do not accept any proxy sites in our network, therefore, any proxy sites or sites with links to such service will not be accepted in our network." Pretty specific!
I just had a look in tech-faq - in their new proxies list, current page, 13 sites are .co.cc out of 25 - half! At least there, they are definitely still around.
Yep, thanks. I reade their TOS, not their FAQs On my proxy lists there have not been any co.cc domains for some time, so something must have happened. In fact, I was spammed with .tk domains which are blocked now. I didn't block them because of the tld, but for being spammy and redirecting. I did receive tons of cheap .tk domains daily. As long there is no problem with .co.cc for my lists I don't block them. Otherwise, they are all blocked in a wink's time.
I setup a web proxy last month since the company I'm working at decided to restrict social sites. Today I found that the office filter block incoming parse from my proxy. Anybody know how to fix? probably change the algorithm or something.. btw proxy are here goodbyefirewall.com Appreciate any input.
Funblock Auction ends in two days. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2062532 Current bid: $150 ($150 is also the revenue made in the past four months) 80-90% Traffic mainly from US. Topsite gets organic SEO traffic from Google SERPS. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Strange, I didn't know Clicksor allowed proxies. Perhaps they changed their terms. Does anyone know their rates? Is it profitable to run .co.cc's and submit them to Topbits? Their traffic seems to die out quickly; and it costs $ to submit. -------------------------------------------- Funblock Auction ends in two days. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2062532 Current bid: $150 ($150 is also the revenue made in the past four months) 80-90% Traffic mainly from US. "Strange, I didn't know Clicksor allowed proxies. Perhaps they changed their terms. Does anyone know their rates?" The thread was to confirm you CANT use Clicksor. Stated in their FAQs
Speaking of advertisers - I see Xtendmedia now is enforcing minimums - minimum $50 a month and minimum 300,000 impressions a month - otherwise they close your account (they do pay you out though).
Got some proxy sites for sale if anyone is intrested... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2068556
Its a constant pain trying to monetize the proxified pages. Front page is easy (Adsense) but the back page.....
Has anyone tried affiliate ads on proxified? Clickbank, commission junction or similar? Any good? I'm also surprised that on a marketers forum no-one has setup something specific for this need, come on people, opportunity is knocking here I would also think that monetizing the so called 'bad' traffic would be easy for someone in the right country. The developing world doesn't need to rely on the west for business nowadays. I'd like to see some initiative myself. It's not something I could do but I'm sure the right person could make a killing in this empty market.
I tried the dating cpa email submit ad on my proxified pages but didn't work. I only got a couple of sign ups after about 100K impressions and a little more than 100 clicks. I guess adbrite is paying better than that. I don't think clickbank will work either. But if you had some success with any product you can always share with us here.
I have been woundering how to monetize them myself. I originally got out of proxies due to my adsense account being disabled because someone launched a clickbomb attack against me.
as far as cpa goes ive been trying to google affiliate network with a variety of about 171 advertisers .......... i get clicks on them but no commissions yet so well see ........ i rotate the ad codes through a php include random text file but no luck yet.......... i wounder which type of product they would most likely purchase from.......... and for those getting there adsense canceled i got savy (DOT) tk disabled so im trying tech ads ?
I've tried all sorts of Clickbank, Amazon, dating etc and no success. Haven't tried google affiliate, so if you get anything out of it, love to hear! Adsense always feels like being on a knife edge - can get banned with no warning for lots of things that we have no control over.
