I'm trying to set up mediawiki to use seo-friendly urls on my nginx server. Have so far been unsuccessful.

Anyone out there that can write a nginx config file for me to get it working?

This should work. Change the domain name and server ip port, change 127.0.0.1:8888 to whatever port your fastcgi daemon is listening at usually its port 9000 for php-fpm default. Also change the root to the path where your mediawiki files reside.

    Thank you! Post repped!

I had to take out the http stuff and the extra space in the rewrite rule before nginx would restart. After that...everything looks great! I found a few config files for mediawiki but this is the first one that actually worked. Thanks again!
