Hi, Just wondering how many of you guys play the lottery out there? Some people say it's a waste of money, others swear by it. I even know some people who are so addicted to it they buy it on a daily basis. I never really believed in it until some guy in my neighborhood hit a 2.1 million dollar jackpot. Now all he does every day is sit around, drink beer and chat with his buddies with a big smile on his face. Lucky bugger.
I earlier tried the weekly lottery and won once a small amount but overall still in loss , so i don't try it anymore , just a waste of money.
I do not play It, because I have no patience to play. And to my opinion lottery business is rather frightful for all the players
Yes, spent way more than I have won. Never got more than 4 numbers and I have played for over 15 years.
I'd rarther work on building a company that's worth seven figures when I come to sell it than, than wait like an idiot to win the lottery.
i play the lottery now and again if its a big win, but i generally dont the odds of winning are just too low. I prefer to gamble on the football.
The house edge for any lottery is huge which makes is a very bad winning proposition. The rare occasions that you can play is with a positive expectation is when a progressive jackpot rolls over for a number of weeks and passes a certain target. Even though your theoretical return is positive, you actual chance of winning is minuscule.
I also think is a waste of money. If I play i just play once a year or something like that, who knows
