Liberals, Conservatives, Islamists and all - Your opinion please?

Hope we can all join here and give valid points without arguing. I've just come across the American "Aryan Nation" official site.

I was just confused by something, I was assuming these people where rednecks, but then I saw this:

" HAIL VICTORY!

ALLAHU AKBAR!"

Eh? These guys approve of Arabic? I thought they wanted extinction of all other than WASPs.

Just wonder what you all think. Anyone agree with this site? Don't be afraid, I won't treat you any different, Freedom of Speech is implemented here.

Some time ago, the Aryan Nation declared itself the friend to jihadist Islam, justifying the "alliance" on their mutual hatred of Jews. A bit of a sticky wicket for them, for as you point out, they are squarely based on "WASP supremacy." But no more of a sticky wicket than Hitler's alliance with Japan, etc. Whatever helps feed the program of hate.

Aryan Nation is just one of many hate groups that when push comes to shove, cower in fear when squarely confronted.

When I'm on the site and the linked "Combat 18" the English version, I can feel the hatred seeping through the monitor... the websites were built and founded on hate.

 

Politics makes strange bed fellows. The large number of anti-semetic comments I have heard from American liberals in the last few years has really surprised me.

I thought we were past that kind of thinking in this country.

You also see liberals and Islamists quoting the Nazi web sites regarding "facts" about the 9/11 attack, claiming it was staged by the Jews.

 

I REALLY am confused. When you're referring to Liberals, are you and I thinking of different people Are US Liberals different to UK?

 

It's difficult to say, I'm on one side of the pond and you're on the other.

American liberals seem to be a few shades more liberal than U.K. liberals.

The British liberals supported the U.S. during the war in Iraq. The American liberals did too, for a few months. Then, they changed their minds. The British liberals have shown more backbone.

 

Hmm but the thing that confused me most was the Nazism relation, liberals are supposed to be for equality, not fascism.

 

Actually, they seem to think some people are more equal than others. They approve of some speech, disapprove of others (and try to silence them). They are for equality, just not equal equality

The Nazi's blamed the Jews for all of their nations ills.
The liberals blame the Israeli's for all of their nations ills.

 

Hm but that's taking stuff out of context and twisting it. The general idea behind left wing ideology is the control (nationalisation) of industry. But liberals don't believe in a dictatoship, which makes a whole world of difference. Also, I doubt liberals blame israel for all of their nations ills. What can they have possible done? The reason the DNSAP had "socialist" in their name, was to attract as many supporters as possible..

 

There's also quite a history of love between the Nazi's and Muslims.

 

Pffff, it's beyond me why they associated with them when they're black The Muslims who signed up must have been pretty blind - "Heh, c'mon guys let's go and fight for the Aryans... Yes that's right, they think white, strong blonds are superior, and everyone else must die..." Must be one of history's most ironic catastrophes.

Bigot George HW Bush had a vice president named Dan Quayle. They made it no secret they only wanted "some speech"... saying a CD had "no place in our society."

It was also a Florida republican who got 2 Live Crew's CD banned and illegal to sell, at which point they started arresting people.

That certainly wasn't "disapproving of others (and trying to silence them)" as you mentioned. That was deffinently equality, just not equality for blacks with a voice

 

As you've said yourself. Going back 20 years yo? Come on. the CD was ruled obscene in court (couple of years later, that got overturned) and it also infringed on copyrights. Hardly the same as a bunch of college kids rushing the stage at schools preventing a conservative from making a speech or doing of the other myriad of things liberals these days do to stifle speech

But I know you are want to defend things you are in agreement with so feel free.

 

My example: The president, vice president and governor stopping free speech they disagree with.

Your example: Some college students making a point.

Seeing a difference here? Government sponsored cencorship as opposed to some college kids? Who's the one in power?
