Just add friends on a regular basis don't force it to avoid being banned. Try to add friends for a minimum of 15 in numbers a day in one months time you will get a lot of it.
Just send invitation request slowly. Facebook can give you a warning for too fast inviting of friend request. Or you may get banned if you still continue doing this violation.

I use this software called Acute Email ID's Production. It can get thousands of emails for you in 10min, its a great tool and i use it when creating fan pages. When you get your emails from the software you put them in a CSV file and upload them to your email account. Then go to your facebook account and upload contacts from your email.
