Honestly, I don't see how could you keep it running for more than a few months. As there is literally no way to cover $5 per install, you'll end up shaving stats or not paying people for what they have done anyway. I have no intentions to scare people away but let's face it - 90% of all PPI companies shut down their business within the first few months because of promises they made and weren't able to fulfill.
$5 is pretty steep to maintain, although PPI is more difficult than it used to be so you have to pay better.
My bad .. now when you say so, I don't even remember how did I get those $5 Regardless of the tools you use, PPI will never be the same again as it was a few years ago .. No one is talking about downloads here - $0.50 per install isn't that high; w/ good management and business plan, there is a chance to survive.
You just haven`t try it. Our paker works like WinRar archive, the only differents, it ask to install toolbar(if user don`t change preferences the answer "yes" is by default.) So if you pack your reak video, mp3 or ebook files with our file-packer -and upload it to filesharing service - your profit will be even better than with Zango 3 years ago!
