I think it is because of a lady posted in one of his photo blogs...I happen to browse through the photo blog minutes before the whole site got hacked.. The sexy lady looks Turkish and who knows she might be the hacker's admirer or gf kissing away shoemoney...

It happens but that is what back-ups are for. I just hope he finds the point of intrusion and fixes it.
I believe Shoe uses WordPress which is one of the most popular blog packages. Popularity = Hacking magnet. I used phpNuke (popular content managment system) for two sites and they both got hacked. It had nothing to do with the sites being famous or important, one was nothing but a site I never formally launched. The hack script was only an automated script that spidered the web and tried a few commands on the site and if successful it would inject the database of the site with content that called in a graphic from Turkey. I tried blocking IP's and IP blocks from the country and a few other standard approaches but I didn't get the attacks to stop until I moved the /admin.php page to /xyzabc/admin.php. The program was looking for admin.php in the root of the site followed by a hit to the search function that pulled out usernames and encrypted passwords. Since admin.php isn't where it looks for it the attacks stopped. The script that hacked my sites has hacked over 10,000 sites in recent times.
I dont think it was specifically targeted at Shoemoney the person. This guy just seems to mass hack. I would love to know the point of entry.
