    Both a pro domains and the niche is very saturated and competitive. The investment required to compete in this market place is very high.

    .pro isnt popular amongst people who are new to technology, by default they will type a .com even if they have been to your site from some link.

    it's correct, they will type .com... but... exist also .org, .net too.... and .pro it's easy to remember and gTLD too
