All chauvinistic religions, including Christianity have that feature.

There is no such thing as a peaceful true christian or jew. And even if they act peaceful, their hearts are full of the bible's hatred. Which is what makes true christians and jews dangerous.

We've been waiting for 6 months for you to show us where Jesus preached hatred. Care to do it now?

You'd think with their distrust and dislike of atheists religous people shouldn't have to be told such things. You would think it's just common sense. But all the time we hear religous people resort back to "people would do anything they wanted if they didn't have god to fear".... it seems true, religous nuts would be violent immoral criminals without the wrath of god to scare them.

Jesus is supposed to be the messiah. The bible is the source of information that you should be looking at.

Jesus never had to. God's word (part 1) is very clear on how god considered rape, murder, slavery and descrimination: all perfectly fine under his watch.

Rewriting god's word for bible (part 2) doesn't make god's original word any less hateful or violent. And don't forget, the jews still believe it to be god's standing word.

I used to be an atheist, I have absolutely nothing against atheists. Jesus said "speak the truth and let it speak for itself". The Christians who try to shove their believes down others throats are wrong for doing so.

Hehe agreed. That's just pathetic. It's like not robbing a bank because of fear of going to prison rather than because it is wrong.

Christians do follow Jesus, and not the Old Testament with its parts about stoning etc. Actually, jews don't follow it either. Muslims however follow Muhammed's teachings of hatred, if they are real Muslims that is. I'm not talking about the Amsterdam type of Muslims who sell drugs and pimp hookers.

Jesus is supposed to be the biological(begotten) son of God & the bible is supposed to be God's word.

I think they're actually shameful of what god's word is. That's why every time someone points out how awful and unjust god's word is, they resort to saying they don't believe it and then mumble something about jesus... must not be true christians :D

And I'm the captain of the Dallas Cowboys.

You have 330 million gods (LOL)

By the way, whoever told you that information has brainwashed you. Christianity has one god too, go back and do your homework..

What always amazes me is this: if a deity truly existed, I would imagine it would just want to give a big time out to its children: watching believers spat over their respective gods is like watching children spat over their dads - "my dad's smarter/bigger/stronger/older than yours ! "I've got more/fewer dads than you!" So nah nah na nah nah!"

Regarding Christianity, by the way, the notion of the "Triune Godhead" has never been adequately explained. The One God of Three Persons is always just tossed off to "mystery."

Religion. Such a source for good on this planet.

    Speaking personally:

    1. Nowhere, that I have seen at any rate.

    2. Nothing. Unless you are a follower of Christian Identity (nothing to do with Christianity), or some of the more nazi-leaning strains of Asatru (nothing to do with Asatru).

right, which brings me back to the point that Muslim members will always accuse members here of being racist, just to get some sort of sympathy. If someone does that, how much credibility should we grant him?

Yep. If we can not criticize (and when necessary ridicule) religion, ANY religion, without being labeled a racist, then there's some serious problems with what people consider religion to be.

Attacks on mosques are not race crimes. Religious wars are not race wars.

Religion can't, and shouldn't be allowed to hide behind race. Religion is a choice.

    "Slow down, it's not a race!" :p

I'd say that depends on your definition of racism.

If you included discrimination against a religion as racism, then well... you've dispalyed it, gtech and will have displayed it, and I would be guilty as well.

Only you, will and gtech are selectively discriminatory against a single religion. ;)
