I too think you need to up your payouts for downloads from the US/UK crowd - the TOP countries!
You really should put it to $7 for 1000 downloads (1-50 mb), rather than the $5 it is at now.

I don't know man - I have a mega post on about 5 big forums with a total of over a thousand views, and yet not a single download - not one ! It's been public now for about a week, but not one download against any of the 30 individual (not split archive) files is showing in file manager (on pps so no downloads in stats sadly).
Ok maybe it's possible no one downloaded, but damn it's harsh 'cos that was a lot of work to put together. There's no easy way to be sure, but it's really demoralising :)

it depends on day, depends on what u share.

1 day I earn 50$ per day another day 5$ per day. As I know, I always earned LESS at weekends than weekdays.
Cause people goes around and prefer not to be at home.

today it happens often that remote uploads stay "IN_PROGRESS" at 100% for 10-20 minutes... it seems there's something not working well

I'm wondering about this since you only get paid from sales from new accounts. If someone buys a premium through my file, I get paid if this is the first time the account buys a premium. But if the subscription is not rebilled, but the account buys a new premium membership after the premium has expired, will I still get paid?

I have changed from filesonic to oron.com because oron pays you even if the same oron account has bought a premium membership earlier. Because of this oron is more profitable.

But I would, however, change back to filesonic, if they would either pay me all further premium purchases from the account created through my file, or if they would pay me even if the premium is purchased from a filesonic account that has bought a premium at an earlier point in time.

Do you have an answer about this?

First pay per sale it's the less constant of the plans.. you can get a day a lot of sells and the next day 0 sells... depends on what kind of people look at that link and what they want..for sure more you work more you get but in the numbers there's more casuality...
Second, it's weekend.. people at weekend stays a lot less at computer...my downloads usually decrease of 25% in the weekend...

I don't think they could pay you every time a user renew his account, they pay you more than thy earn with a 1 month premium sale
If someone buy a premium account from a your link they earn $9 and give you $10, if this user renew his account they can't give you $10 again or the would go in bankrupt :)

Aren't they paying you by the percent? So if they renewed they still make that $9 minus server costs = profit.. while you make another $10 in profit....

I don't understand what you say... they have 2 different pps plans: 65% or $10 pps, if you choose plan C ($10 pps) they earn $9 per-sale and how could they give you $10 per-sale (renew included)? They should loose $1 every sale :)

They give you $10 per sale for any sale. So even if you sold a lifetime account you still get $10 and filesonic gets the rest. Plan C is for people that sell mostly monthly accounts. You take a risk because you can't guarantee that all your sales will be monthly ones.

so if you think your niche can have sales > 1 month then you choose % per sale, if you think you sales will be mostly 1 month then you choose the other plan.
