Selling my two websites, one designed from scratch, the other one being a funny website which was already posted here.

Actually, the website runs on all the script provided by iwebtool.com and each script it brand free, i.e there are no copyrights when the script is ran on the website. Offers differnet variety of tools like WHOIS, PageRank and many tools.
Litte of theme is a free theme and rest of all the content like the buttons, logo,
the menu table is self designed and you will get PSD if wanted.

The menu, ads (Adsense), Footer are all included in php for quick editing. All the tools remain free and 0 maintenace fee. All the URLs are well SEOed and with meta tags (which is too php included). Google Analytics and Google Adsense pre integerated. Contact form is fully flash enabled which I would edit the mailing address as soon the sale is proccesed. More tools can be easily added and I guess I will add a encryptor tools soon.

Advertised at lookbeyondipod.com and gets decent traffic, but adsense stays low as I havenot promoted it yet.

2) Funtonic.info

The website runs on the automatic licensed script of phppod which costs around 58$ and updates automtically from differnent sources (which can be either added or removed if desired ) with funny videos and pictures. As an admin you can delete any video/pic which you dont like and at the same time upload your own videos or let user upload their stuff.

The website updates itself with cron and please note that it ONLY runs on MySQL 4.

Things I have done on it :
I modified the template, the background and lots of images.
Added Google Analytics to it.
Modified the adsense colour so that it doesnot look like an advertisement.

You will get the PSD for the current logo and the logo in the footer. The notice and the name at the bottom can be removed easilly.

Also the site is pretty new and so no traffic but has great value if done with serious efforts.

in Funtonic.info, i see different categories like "videos", "myspace videos" (empty, why?) etc...how are the managed?

Also - can user uploaded content be viewed by all visitros? is it uploaded upon an admin approval?

Yes, user can upload there videos but it gets public only after the admin approval, so that to verify that the videos are appropriate and not something which harms the user.

Thanks fixing it soon, actually the site runs on the script of phppod which owns hypehumour.com, so the script is licensed and as hypehumour is owned by phppod, the link directs there.

On the webmaster tools site when given the results all the text is almost the same as the background thus making it almost unreadable.

If this is fixed so it can be read I would be interested in it.

If fixed I bid $25

Its the same still.....Go check a url with the backlinks tool you'll see what I mean. Look at the text.

- Do you set the sources of which the site gets it's content from? is it simillar or identical to any other sites with the same script?

- If it works only on MYSQL 4, would it work well with MYSQL5+ or do i have to downgrade (sorry, server noob).

The same problem was with me, its with your cache.
Right click the table (in FireFox) and "View bg image" and refresh the paget the image gets updated, now get back to the website its done. Or clear your cahce and refresh the webpage.

I`ll provide the screenshot if you want.

You can add any site/remove them on which the script gets updated.

Yes the script only works on SQL 4 (Which most servers have), Sorry it doesnot work with 5.

Alright, i've taken a look at the admin interface on the phppod site, and it turns out to be quite simple, perhaps too simple. Can you only add/delete media using the interface? what about changing the header, footer, design, how can that be done?

So any site that's not on the list cannot be cached right?


lol, i'm sorry if i ask too much, but quite interested in this, but only because of the script, if i'm buying this i'm replacing the domain with something better.

Through the admin interface provided by them, you can delete/add/approve media. Rest all can be done simply by ediitng the respective files. All the weel divided in template files which you can easily edit IMO.

Reagarding the bug - its was my mistake I will remove it asap.

Yes sites not being on the list cannot be cached.

Another last two questions, and then i'm gonna be decided:

1. How exactly is the phppod license is going to be transfered to me? will you or i still have the ability to use it on other sites?

2. If the script costs $58 and you bought it just recently, how come you are willing to risk selling your site for a loss of 40+ dollars?

EDIT: Yet another issue, the myspace code seems to be redirecting to yet another site which is funny4you.net or something like that...i am afraid that upon purchase i will face more problems with this script and your site configuration.

The script which phppod provided me doesnot have someting like a "callback license" all the script I bought had php files and template files, with the sql database and regarding whether it can be used on another site, I didnot get any TOS or readme fromt hem which said that this is single license scrip, so I think it can be used on multiple sites but its better to ask them about it.

I bought the script around 2 months ago, but never set it up abut I used that on funtonic now and yes I am even ready to lose because I need money for continuing ahead with my future projects.

And regardgin those bugs your facing with the website, the script got updated recently before some 15 days, thus phppod provided me the final one for which I contacted them. HypeHumour, funny4you are all owned by phppod you can surely contact them and ask and thus the script was provided "as is" so it thus may have links still left to funny4you/hypehumour which needs to be removed and I will remove them asap.
