What is the most effective SEO method?

Creating backlinks for your site is way of pramoting your site.the most effective SEO method is artical submission.write good articals and submit it in to high PR artical directories

 

Quality content, build good back links and promote web site on social media optimization.

I think good content with proper title and meta tags so search engines can find your site.
Fancy and flashy do not mean anything if no one can find your website.

For example here is the stats on a site I built or rather threw together 2 days ago. My SEO score is great but I have room for improvement on the meta description.

rightly said by the poster, also there are various tools available in the market like article marketing roboat by which you can submit your articles into literally thousands of article directories. Although most of these articles directories are having no traffic but good for backing creation.

 

Hard and lasting work is the most important.

 

High page rank Backlinks really are the only thing that matters. Content and page optimization are worth doing but don't count for anything next to backlinks

Whatever your competition is not doing is going to have added effectiveness for you! I've been doing lots of forum posting, I find new forums everyday that are related to my niche and can 95% of the time post my content with pictures on their website with a link back to mine, either in text or in my sig, and they don't mind. I also post on related blogs and some unrelated too just browsing news sites or blogs on-line. I am going to try article writing which I haven't done much of, I do keep a blog updated regularly, but submitting actual articles with quality information and just listing my site as a reference, and seeing if those get picked up by others, heard this is a great old school technique. Directory submissions is good too, you can get some quality links for one-time price usually, and free occasionally too! And of course keeping a separate blog is great idea too, we recently had two of the major south florida newspapers pick up our reports and are using them and referencing them in their paper and on the radio, big-time publicity!

 

Backlinks seem to be nearly key. I have heard that +1 /+1 link sharing is not necessarily good for either party but who really knows without stealing google's proprietary code there is no definite formula except backlinks which are provable.
