Shorten post previews?

    Is there any way to shorten the preview of a post?
    I mean that instead of showing the whole post on the front page you could limit it to only showing 100 words or something. It would really help.
    Or is this only for themes made that way from the start?

    Nevermind, I solved it with a widget that simply had box saying that I could only show the excepts. =)
