Thankfully, what you think doesn't matter to anyone but you. In the civilized world, we behave by civilized rules and they do not involve murdering people because you feel that they have insulted you, your honor, your family, your religion, etc...
If you want to understand the mentality of Menj and other idiots like him, you don't need to go any further than your local neighborhood gang. They have the same definition of "respect" as he does. And the same reaction to not giving them "proper" respect. The only respect they deserve is a smack upside the head and some good old fashioned military school (in the US of course) so they can curb their anger into something useful.
Menji, You said if you live in Saudi you live by their rules, if not, don't live there.. Well, um, what about those women with the veils? What if we didn't tolerate them wearing it here in England anymore, does your "obey or get out" argument apply here too? I'd say it would be fair?
People forget that Catholics do the same thing with nuns. Most people understand the christian cultural nature of seperating the "religous" nuns from the rest of society, letting people know that they aren't seeking sexual encounters and want to live their lives with purity. I dont personally understand why someone would never want to have sex, but I respect it. Likewise, its islamic culture that all unmarried women are pure and seperated from sexual encounters. I dont understand it, but I have to respect it. As for not being allowed jobs or allowed to decide if they want to wear the viels, NOT EVEN A MAJORITY OF ALL OF THE 1.3 BILLION MUSLIMS REQUIRE THIS. Also remember that women in america have only had socially accepted jobs and the right to vote in the last 60 years. Every culture has its stages of improvement.
Reasonably. Well for me wearing a veil is not something which is a fard (a must) in religion, but I will find it discriminatory if you were to do so. After all the women are wearing the veil by their own choice. - MENJ
I didn't "murder anyone" due to the blasphemy cartoons or the Papal controversy if that is what you are trying to imply. I am an internet activist. My pen (or in this case, my keyboard) is my sword. I don't need to inflict any harm to anyone. I can do equal damage with words, and only words. - MENJ
is that not the quote per sey, that you tried to discredit from the bible? ie jesus use of the word sword to mean words/tongue? you sound like a prick to me still. and to say you are here to cause damage, yes you do, you damage your religion every time you open your big fat mouth.
Actually, judging from the encouraging number of PMs I receive, I am guessing your analysis is simply way off. - MENJ
you cant even reply to a simple question about shooting females in the head in front of a group of men, so anything you have to say is nothing worth listening to, now go crawl back under the shit pit you came from
Thought I already told everyone that I am withholding comment on that until I cleared my exams. Perhaps you missed my initial announcement? Things are not always so literal as they seem. And perhaps you are happy at this news. - MENJ
But what if I think it's discriminatory for Western women living in Saudi, to be spat at for wearing Western clothes/make-up?
Or even worse, little girls being forced by the religious police to stay inside a burning building because they hadn't time to dress up in the full burkha while they were running for their lives. This only proves that, to an Islamist, a womans life means nothing.
that's because everyone knew that Muhammed was sexually intimate with a child, but no one knew of his masturbation habits. He was a prophet and if he could have sex with a kid, it must be ok
I don't neccessarily agree with all of what is happening in Saudi. Please don't assume that I do. - MENJ
Actually he was the one pawned by me. I asked him to show me a mosque in Vatican City and all he did was to show one in Rome? Please.... - MENJ
