I think this is a pointless thread.. It's just adding even more tension between us non-muslims and those who are Muslim.

You can't simply disown your problems. Menj admitted that stoning a 13 year old was only wrong because she was 13. If she were older then stoning her for not following her religion is the right thing to do according to him.

It's not "radical" if that is what the religion actually teaches. And that's the problem.

 

People seem to forget that the "radical muslims" beliefs are founded in "non-radical" muslim teachings...

This thread was started as an oppotunity for moderate muslims to decry the murderer for going against Islam and to show why he was wrong to think his religion demanded he kill his daughter.

The reason people don't see a difference between moderates and radicals is because moderates make no effort to make that distinction.

 

It's actually a very informative thread, if its' true, it's something I didn't know and that I am happy to find out above.

Does that make it right? Christians presumably believe the Bible so for instance with the KKK it's possible to point out an instance where God struck somebody dead for being a racist. And also where God states clearly that all are equal in God's eyes.

I've yet to see a Muslim argue why what the Muslim did in the story is wrong from the perspective of the Koran. We already know Menj supports stoning and Pedophilia and the murder of apostates so I don't know why he calls this "dirt."

To him it's what Muslims should be doing. I guess it's only dirt because we as a society are too ignorant to know why it's a good thing to kill your own daughter because she didn't want to be Muslim any more. Maybe Menj can explain it to us and enlighten us.

 

Yet we can also point out where god said owning slaves is ok, and raping girls is fine as long as you pay her father.

 

That's what is confusing me. This is traditional Muslim behavior, because it is what is described in the Koran as the proper way to conduct yourself.

This is not an abberation, this is the design.

 

I just hope one day, you step out on to the road without looking and a car is just about to hit you, travelling at a fatal speed, when all of sudden a Muslim grabs you by your arm and drags you to safety. It's sad how terrifying instances are needed to enlighten

It's not meant to be an offensive statement or anything, just more symbolic that one day those who have dislike or hatred towards types of people can open their minds and take people as individuals instead of a collective. It was meant to be aimed towards people such as yourself who do like to "Muslim bash".

 

Well, what really confuses me is that we are told to "tolerate" this behaivor. If we do not, we are racist. What a weird world.
