34 awesome free Wordpress themes/templates

    Hi all,

    I thought I would try and make a decent first up contribution to DP. I have downloaded 34 different Wordpress templates for use on my self-hosted Wordpress blog and thought I would share them with you all. There are 19 from wordpressthemesbase.com and 15 from Wordpress.org. Because I have gone over my Broadband cap I had to upload the templates into 3 parts instead of one big zip file. Here are the templates:

    I second that statement. What makes things worse, is these rogue sites are churning out the themes to the unaware and they are showing up here at DP with their problems. I have come across three just this week, so imagine how many others are out there.

    And thanks for posting that blog post, Chris! That was pretty good.

    Yeah I noticed that when I scanned some of the WP templates in VirusTotal, I left out the ones that came up suspicious. Virustotal scans come with them but you are welcome to update this thread if need be.

    I would remove all of them, and not even take the chance. There can be other nasties inside of those themes that VirusTotal does not even pick up on. Plus you do not even want to refer people back to that god-foresaken site.

    Oh ok I should have thought about that a bit better, I can download more templates from the official WP site and use them instead?

    Doesn't matter. Just be a little careful of what you are promoting without doing your due-diligence.
