I'm new to the Digital Points, and this is my first thread I'm not sure if it appropriate to everyone here. AdSense and Affiliate program, which one is better program to promote as online marketing?
i think a lot of it dpends on your traffic, if it is trageted traffic in one specific area that has good affiliate shemes then affiliate is much better, alternativly if you have high volumes of non lose traffic then adsense is going to earn more. Have you thought about running some split testing, trying one option for a month and then the other?
Both of them are effective. Someone earns a good amount with adsense and someone with Affiliate. It all depends on your subject or niche and source of traffic. I am using both programs.
Adsense is easier that anything else to get started with. Google are so clever that they place what they think are the most relevant ads on each page of your site. Affiliate can earn you more money - IF you can find relevant offers for your traffic that convert to sales (or maybe signups) Finding affiliate offers that convert into income can be difficult. So newttoadsense suggestion to split test is very sensible
if you have unique content that people want an affiliate will probably be better but if you just have a basic site i would say go with adsense
Both are good, if you are able to get "action"/sales, then go for affiliate, else adsense will be your choice
Basically, it seems like traffic is the most important factor for either AdSense nor Affiliate program. So, in your opinion what is the best ways to get traffic to your blog or site. I have never thought about running the split test because I'm very new to online businesses; I have only two blogs, and I' m not sure how to place google ads or clickbank hoplinks in the proper place yet. I hope that I will more from you and the rest of our members here. Thank for your comments.
Thank you so much for your advice, I will use it wisely. Well, I'm very new to this subject; so, usually how many websites or blogs do most people have in order to make $5000-$6000 a month? I'm very interested in learning more about online businesses; where can I get the resources beside learning from our members here?

In my opinion, adsense is good for blog sites while affiliate programs are good for review sites with an attached subscribers widget where u can get a list of targeted leads.
in my view Adsense is Best because other Affiliate Progs will give u more but its up to your luck but with google u just collect or write new and unique content and get visitors thats all. Google will pay u .
That maybe ur view but if u have a review site promoting clickbank/affiliate products such as SEO products and have an opt in list of 5k subscribers. And start email marketing, u can easily make 3 figures per day due to the high commission of the products. However, adsense works best if u have a blog site with unique quality contents but u need high amount of visits daily to make at least 3 figures per day. But a lot of people can easily make 3 figures daily with adsense using micro niches sites. Let's say each micro niche site earns at least $1 daily and u have hundreds of established micro niches.
