Lets Leak Google's Algorithm!!!

I know it's impossible to get accurate information about Google's 200+ algorithms. But with long observations many of you have tested and identified many facts. Although it's variable But Still please add what ever you know. I'll then later open another thread listing all of our findings here after week or a month.

 

Sorry but this topic seems a bit pointless to me, but never the less. In my opinion BACKLINKS play a major role and the CONTENT you post. I've noticed how the use of META tags aren't much important as it used to be in the past. Not saying this should be ignored either but Google has prioritized other ways to rank sites now.

 

Yes, backlinks are the backbone of any website , and contents are the juice that flows into search engines

Ok let me start with some, Correct me if I'm wrong:-

1. Domain Name factor
2. Title Tag (unique for each page)
3. Meta Description Tag (unique for each page)
4. Include your keywords in the h1, h2, and h3 tags (also h4-h6).
5. Keyword Prominence or being the top 500 words.
6. Keyword Density & Avoiding Keyword Stuffing
7. Site Map factor (1 for users and another for search engine) also Image site map.
8. backlink factor (This alone is a big factor)
9. Regular Update Factor
10. Original Content Factor
11. Domain Age.
12. IP that has not been used for spamming/ bad neighborhood
13. Seed Site (Manually Ranked sites)
14. Clean web Design and w3 Standard coding
15. search engine friendly URL structure and non- Deep Directory
16. Alt Tag description for Images
17. Related keyword around the image.
18. No Broken links
19. Correct Spelling of the words
20. Synonyms and word groups (for example If your article is about Cars search engine would expect words like gear/speed/mileage etc.)
21. Robot.txt factors
22. Not too many empty pages
23. rel="canonical" and 301 Redirect
24. rel="nofollow"
25. Less Outgoing links
26. Server Loading Speed
27. Website built with Table less CSS for optimal rendering.
28. Optimizing for Local search you can use country ccTLD for that domain name. Example (.com.bd for Bangladesh local search)
29. Mobile Version of the website (Notify Google).
30. Anchor text factor (internal and external links).
31. <em>, <strong> tags and avoid conflict with <h1>-<h6> tags.
32. Switch content based on User-agent.
33. Avoid cloaking.
34. Avoiding link spam.
35. Avoiding link purchase.

Ok I have listed 35 broad aspects. I know 100+ algorithms are covered here as for Backlinks alone Google should have many algorithms.

Actually, the real big secret is that the entire Google search engine runs on a single commodore 86 computer with a dial up connection. The software is written in 'BASIC' and is about 20 lines long.

That's why the first 5 pages of Google results are generally junk

 

You can actually make an empty webpage page 1 on google by doing lots of anchor text in there and meta tags.

well as such there is no perfect google Algorithm, if you can follow the tips and trick mention is google web master help I am sure any site will do well

Apart from all these, Google keeps changing its algorithm so it is very hard to leak.

As we are not having PR update from long time so it is also an algorithm of Google.

I would have to agree with this. Especially after reading this post the SEO giant SEOMoz: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/whiteboard-friday-we-bought-links-and-it-worked

But I have to also disagree with theseoguys and say that it's nowhere close to actually being "illegal." Last time I checked, the worst that could happen is that your site gets banned, and likely won't be so forever. It is definitely a risk to buy links, but no one is going to show up at your door with badges and guns to take you to prison for it.

 

I have to say it is really a good thread to know about Google algorithm.
