LoL. You actually did it. You came up with a PC word to avoid the implication of poverty, regardless of the fact the poverty exists. I am a man of my word. Developing nation it is.

Are you now saying my reference to the population of the Philippines as "impoverished" was fair, even if it may have been politically insensitive?

What difference does it make what my race is? Like you, I'm the first generation of my family to have a US citizenship. You can call me Don Juan Pablo Arias Cascante if it helps your argument :D.

China could be easily bankrupt. Chinese is more about saving then spending. China depends on mostly export to balance its GDP, if countries stop buying their crap(the west) then china fail. Simple as that!

The real problem is aptly described by "Power Corrupts, and Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely"
People in most countries are peaceful - but leaders seem to get so easily corrupted wherever they are in the world.
Rome, Britain, America - and maybe China.
Politics seems to be a dirty game inside most countries, but gets extra attention when leaders start projecting their power abroad.
Tony Blairs self serving belief that he was actually President Blair with absolute control having the personal right to take the UK to war in Iraq, rather than allowing consensus cabinet politics to work in the UK is just one of the latest examples that has done lasting damage to the UK's standing worldwide.

Just south of Hunters Point. Here is the way Wikipedia describes this very poor American neighborhood.
This compared to the 15k a year an engineer in PI makes.... what was your point?

I am from America. I am an American. My kids were born abroad, but they are also Americans. When I discard my American citizenship one day, and become a subject of the UK for tax purposes, I will still be an American. My parents were never naturalized, but they consider themselves Americans. Not Mexican-Americans, or Russian-Americans, or Irish-Americans, or Italian-Americans. Just Americans. Digging for my ethnic background seems like just another effort to accentuate our differences, instead of focusing on what we all have in common.

I remember that! Everyone was learning Japanese for a few years, in anticipation of their worldwide dominance of economic markets. Remind me again what became of that?

It seems popotalk has hit a nerve. Are you ashamed of your heritage and why is that? It seems you and Apocalypse has more in common than you know, he is also ashamed of being Romanian.

A good point to illustrate his fakeness. You really can't believe anything he says. When he first joined he started bagging the government and claiming he was on the dole in order to make people hate people on the dole.

It would be like if I take Will.Spencer's position on gun controls and then I tell everyone I love gun freedoms, then I start openly celebrating every crazy gunman such as the recent shooting that killed 9. In effect it would make people think people who love guns are all crazy and it helps them get laws passed to ban them.

Obamanation does this for the unemployed and people on welfare. He hates the unemployed so much he takes on the role of the absolute craziest unemployed person that in reality could never be. All he's doing is using lies & guesses to turn you against the unemployed. It's all part of his agenda to end social welfare. I'm not sure if his Muslim identity is real yet.

Hey Bushranger. Here is something to consider. The sky is blue and the earth is spherical.

To the contrary, I'm very proud of my national heritage despite a few dark spots. We put a man on the moon, helped liberate France from Nazi rule, and created more private wealth than any nation in history. To my way of thinking, you know you are ashamed of your heritage when you start referring to the nation you immigrated from as "your" nation. It begs the question of why you immigrated to the US in the first place. If "your" country is so great, stay there.

Almost. The subtle difference is my parents entered and reside in the US legally.

Both Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy found it necessary to remind the American people that the United States is a nation of immigrants. Every person on the North and South American continents came from someplace else -- either as an immigrant herself or as a descendant of immigrants. It is a telling and unfortunate commentary that we require regular reminders of these facts.

At least he is been to state, much better than opinion of some poor Romanian sitting in his village looking at American TV program on his black & white TV dreaming for the day that he goes to USA where they have street lamps.
It is strange with your "love" of USA, you have never been to USA, was it because you don´t have the money to go or were you denied entry visa? ;)
