    well all these major search engines offer a place where you can submit url but most of the times if you are adding your site with fresh content then you will be able to get your site index much more quickly.

    Guess, that I mostly support the idea of writing the unique interesting content with proper keywords. Check Google Keyword Tool to make sure, you've chosen the right keywords.
