Receiving Payment via Western Union?

    I'm going to receive a payment via Western Union and I wonder how receiving money via WU works.

    How can I find out if the money is ready for me to pick up? Will Western Union send me a letter to my address?

    The guy who will send you the money will give you a transaction ID. Save it and go to the nearby WU office showing them the code. You will instantly get the cash.

    That is called MTCN number.

    And btw OP needs to carry identity proof alongwith him to collect cash from WU.

    Yes, the MTCN number + your ID is all that you may need OP. I received money via WU 2-3 times from clients and it's easy to get your cash.

    It is very easy , the Person who is sending you money will give you his details and MTCN no . you can get cash at your HUB after confirmation of your identity .

    I don't think there are any minimum payments when it comes to adsense being paid out via western union.

    They are only paying through check to indian publishers IMO (No WU as of now).
