If I am looking for free ones I use sxc.hu, morguefile.com and stockvault.net. When I am willing to pay, I usually go with stockxpert.com
That site is really cool, there is alot of nice images on there. Its better than paying for images on www.istockphoto.cm but then again on iStock there is useually some really really nice ones. Depends though, you can find some little gems on that site
Same, that's what I use. Corbis.com has some nice photos too although I'm not sure what their pricing or licensing is like.
sxc.hu for free pics and photos.com for payed pics, kind of cheap but the negative side is that you can see them almost in every website of the internet
I use SXC.hu (No restriction images) for my free templates. And when i create commercial templates, i use clipart.com . It is the most affordable on the net ever seen. And the biggest advantage is that clipart.com images can be used in templates. Do you people know any other site which provide support in creating templates with their photos? just curious, Regards, Vrajesh
sxc.hu has lots to pick from... thanks silverblade... i like that stockvault.net site which I never knew about
dreamstime.com bigstockphoto.com istockphoto.com All are RF micro stock sites - images are less than $5 All of these sites have at least 500,000 images on them so you can usually find what you want. Also, there are a lot of images that only have 1-2 d/l's so you are not using the same images as everyone else.
I dont think their is one specific site for that. Check the above sites, and do a search within them. Check out this post for more ideas:
First, royalty free means you don't pay according tothe number of magazines you print or the number of visits to your website, you just pay a flat fee. Some charge as little as $1 for a low resolution image. If you need lots of images per month there are sites with subscription plans, such as shutterstock.com that reduce the cost per image below a dollar. Usually the images can be used for business purposes, in advertisements and as book covers and on web sites. What you can't do is put the image on a T-shirt or mug and sell it. Some sites are starting to offer this as they expand their marketing model. However, the truly free sites, like sxc.hu may not have those restrictions. Disclosure: I have a few images on fotolia, featurepics, and canstock, nothing as yet on shutterstock.
