Starting a new site - what is the fastest way to rank in Google?

I want to take steps that allow me to rank quickly as possible on Google. What are the steps needed for this. Should open avoid a lot of link building too much too soon?

Does the sandboxing of sites still relevant now as it use to be the case a year or two back? If so, how does one avoid this?

Any check list of what measures someone should take and avoid. What has worked in your experience?

How son we were you getting decent traffic from Google. I know there are loads of variables such as competition and what not, but anything particular that worked for you?

 

I will start with normal link building to avoid sandbox but gradually increase this process via article marketing, dir sub & social media.

there is no fastest way to rank. its all wait and see. do your due diligence and you will rank over time.

 

1. Submit sitemap to search engines
2. Do Social Bookmarking
3. Comment on high frequency blogs
4. Guest post on high frequent blogs

Start extensive link building after 3 months of regularly posting the content.

 

There are no short-cuts ... build strong backlinks, have an seo friendly website, choose proper keywords, develop sites with good 'original' content.

 

I would have fresh content and would start building backlinks by doing press release and articles submission and would set up a twitter and facebook page for it

 

If your site have a lot of pages with unique content, you can attract some kind of traffic.
Social book marking is also a good way to attract traffic.

Just do whatever you feel like as long as you make sure you vary the type of your backlinks. If youre still unsure, do a couple of web 2.0 properties and blast your backlink to those sites instead, the web 2.0 can link to your main site pretty safe.

Sandbox is just a way of SE recalculating your position on the SERP, as long youre still indexed it should be ok

i will say yes basic SEO start with search engine submission , directory submission, blog commenting and write articles with unique content this will help.

 

Yes rseobeginner is right.. SEO takes some time to get rankings for your site...if you want to get rankings quickly then it will disappear as soon as from Google.. So do natural link building which is good for your site.

 

On page optimization and content is best part of fast keyword ranking.

 

I'm guessing the "quality paid directories" from your sig are not the way to go...

You can start blog comment with web specific keywords. It is the best method to rank up your website in Google.
