Automatic Ip blocking after presified number of hits

dear,

am looking for php code who can block ip that access on my site more then 100 times per hour

or any time frame and number of hits that i select them

ofcorse the blocking will be through .htaccess

automatic blocking will not work with htaccess, you can hire me to write a piece of script that uses a database to check number of visits from a current user by ip and or hostname.

you can either redirect him to an empty page, or recreate the htaccess file, with a ban on his ip.
