If not DP, then where is the best place to sell a site?

I have a site with an ebook I'm looking to sell along with my help continuing to market and e-book updates for one year, but often hear there are better places than DP to list. Anyone care to tell me the names to those sites?

For the record, DP is by far and away the best place for small to medium size sales.

Sitepoint costs $$ to post in the Marketplace :(. DP rocks, you can post in DP's Marketplace for free.

Sitepoint is the best if you have a legit site. If you're trying to pull a fast one on someone sitepoint will catch it. I would use ebay for something like that.

why would you use eBay to pull a fast one? why mention pulling a fast one? did they give any indication that they want to sell something thats not worth buying?

Nay, but I was just saying if he is trying to pull as fast one do it on ebay. Sitepoint will freakout if one single hit isn't counted for. It's a tough crowd, but if everything is 100% on the money then it's the best site to buy and sell.

you might have better luck on eBay if it's something cookie-cutterish.(There are a few people who seem to earn a good living selling scripts/pre-made basic sites on eBay.) If it's something completely new, NamePros is nice too.

To Will whomever you are, thanks for the anon message and gift--made my day.

bigrollerdave - Not looking to pull a fast one on anyone. This is a legit site with a legit (although somewhat sexist) product. I just want to get the best possible price in a market the sees the value of the site.

To all - Sounds like the majority vouch for sitepoint.com and/or Ebay. Thanks to all of you for your constructive comments. I'll let everyone know how it goes. I understand it costs $20 to list on sitepoint.com which sounds worth it if it weeds out the rabble. Of course if my highest bid on that site turns out to be $30, then perhaps not. Again, thanks for the feedback.

In case you didn't realize, with Digitalpoint and Sitepoint it's not an either/or, many people post a site for sale on both.
