I don't understand why people comment on something they don't understand. Can anyone who understands this explain this to me?

 

They enjoy it? They're addicted to nicotine? It's not difficult to find a reason why people smoke.

 

Well, because we want to understand maybe, i just want to get a valid point from someone who smokes, as of to why they smoke, i mean, why they started smoking, just for the sake of it...?

LOL, yeah, but why try smoking in the first place, i dont find the need really, but hey, thats just me, maybe you get why...

 

I personally find it relaxing, I don't smoke because I'm addicted I also don't smoke that much just friday nights and I have around 5 or 6 and that's it. I guess the same argument can be said about alcohol, alcohol in drinks is pointless unless you're planning to drink enough to feel it's effects.

Lot of smoking is a social activity like Hookah pipes for example. Cigars are more for pleasure smoking. I also think you're totally missing the point of why people smoke it's because smoking is still socialy accepted. It wasn't 60 years ago where you really were the odd one out if you didn't smoke.

 

this things really makes me wonder.. Do they really produce smoke? I mean if they're chargeable, then where will the smoke came from?

 

I smoked for 30 plus years and quit thanksgiving 2009 and haven't smoked a tobacco cigarette since, thank God

yes i tried a few electronic cigarettes and that is how i quit. i still use them

my ladyfriend just died of lung cancer

and it was not pretty to watch her die

it's really nice to be able to breath again and i just had a lung test and my doctor said my breathing was the best it has ever been, good luck

@Topic - E-cigs are a pain in the ass. It costs too much for something that you even consider as an alternative. I have smoked for 9 years and I'm finally preparing myself to stop for good.

No, i never used e-cigs. Even i dont want to use it.

 

Never had the chance to try them but the feedback from those who have might pull me in.

 

Seems like a quite a lot of people are trying e-cigs or e-cigarettes now, even some celebrities (like Johnny Depp).

 

I think they're good for people trying to quit, but the one I saw has a light at the end of it that lights up green when you puff. I mean, come on! At least make the light red so its not obvious from 50 yards that you're smoking a robot cig!
