Selling Selling a HUGE/1.7 million post Sports/Entertainment/Off-Topic FORUM

READ MY WHOLE POST FOR EXPLAINED REVENUE. I own a large 1.4 million post forum. We merged with another forum that had around 300,000 posts. Needless to say, at the last second they backed out and each of us went back to the respective sites. Failed as of January 4th. The posters post on their respective sites now, however the database includes over 6,000 active members and emails.

We're selling the domain name + the forum which includes a database that has over 1.7 million posts + professional design that cost us 75 dollars to have done last week. It includes a rotating banner option with over 25 different variations of the banner. This database is souped up and ready to go for anybody wanting to start a sports forum or take over one with a great database. Also over 6,000 registered members.

READ : Between the two forums, the highest earning month in adsense for each was 670.58 and 448.41. These are based off of the two forums that were combined in this database. THIS URL HAS NOT EARNED THIS AMOUNT. The commodity in this sale is the database....not the traffic from the domain.

Could you post the screenshot of earnings for the last 3 months along with traffic? And please verify your ownership.

The domain name was registered 2 weeks ago, also you have 9 pages in Google's index. Can you explain why ? How can this site have $700 revenue ?

I'm a bit confused here. So, are any of the members on this forum real? The database for the forum you're selling is just copies of two other forum databases? Those two still being live, and where all the members actively post? Does the site you're selling get any traffic?

Yeah, most of the people checking the forum out have seen the URL and are just browsing. Nobody is actually spending time posting there as it was a failed merge.

It is a combination of two very big databases. The domain was registered a week ago but the important part of this sale is the database. Some people like to "bulk" their forums up to make it look larger and more active. I used to run another site that was pretty large and had a guy purchase our site which was on a new domain name but had our database of a year on there for a couple thousand dollars this past summer.

The monthly revenue is in regards to how much was made off both sites this past month. Potential buyers shouldn't be interested in the traffic...they should be interested in the database that is for sale. We combined the database as a merger.....the merger fell through and now we're left with a huge database forum. Somebody will find use of this.

I will have ownership verified soon.

So this sale should go into the right category. The site you're selling worth nothing, all that's "good" over there is the database. Try to sell that, not the entire site by saying it makes 700 bucks monthly.

The site is for sale, which includes the database. The database being the asset, not the domain. This is the correct category.

If we take it your way, I can put together databases from all my sites I've had until now and sell that for a million lol. Just let people know the site it's far from earning $700. That's only the revenue gathered from two former forums, whose databases are linked together in your site, on a 2-weeks domain name and no revenue. Make the things clear, otherwise you could get banned here.

I made it very clear in my post. Anybody with a sense of reading comprehension would be able to gather that much...that it's a brand new domain yet a valuable database. The main post "CLEARLY" states that posters post on their respective sites.

No it doesn't "CLEARLY" state anything. I agree with lumpy, you saying the site earns $700 a month when it earns nothing makes you look very dishonest.

"Between the two forums, the highest earning month in adsense for each was 670.58 and 448.41"

In the latter part of my post. However I can see how this would be confusing. I will try to edit it.

So basically you are willing to accept 1 400 $ for a site that you say give you 700 $ of income per month ? LOLLL you are not credible. Your site is worth nothing ! we are not idiots !

The person who purchased a previous database from me was from the digitalpoint forums. I made my previous sale on this very site ready . That is why I am attempting to sell this database here and not somewhere else.

really strange to sell a merge database with no traffic, if you own one of this forums, why not selling the original one instead?
btw, do u have vbulletin license?

Databases are valuable for a couple different reasons. Some people are really interested in bulking their site up to make it look a lot better. It's the "beach body" of the internet.

The information was cloudy so I edited it to make more sense.

With the other party backing out, you still have the rights to sell this site with their part of the database?
