How much traffic for new website without any SEO/promoting?

I want to build a new website with my own domain name '.com'. I'm not going to promote it in anyway. So..

- how much traffic will I receive for a month?

- will the traffic increase (after a month) even if I'm not doing anything to promote it?

Please share your experienced...thanks

 

i had severall websites that i didn't promote at all and the traffic was close to 0, regardless of the niche. a bit of promotion is a must.

If you post keyword specific content regular basis, within 15 days you can see traffic in your website from search engines. If you post also user point of view good and quality content, visitors will also share your website contents with the friends and your website will be promote virally. mean, 1 to 50 ----- from that 50, 4 person will share your website content with 4*50 friends.. It's statistics...

my experience, if we do not use SEO Technique, we can't get any visitor yet,

here the little explain:
1. Visitor Come from Search Engine
2. Search Engine Looking for Our site
3. Search Engine Record our site on their 'data'
4. SE will redirect keyword that use by new visitor to our site if their any matches

there is the how visitor way to come with SEO, There is many way to get traffic actually, you can buy or you use signatur or other so visitor can come to your site.

but i's not effective because they are not natural, SEO come to our site because he or she wont somethink from our site, like article, news, kind, or buy somethink.

For good seo You must do:
1. Backlink
2. Optimize your Site Layout
3. Got Popular

Depends on the theme of the site and competition.
If you have not competition you can be found in the first place without any promotion.
However, it is a hypothetical situation.
Experience shows that without proper promotion you can not expect any kind of visitation.

 

Here, the main point is that getting traffic without promotion!

Of course, without promotion, without link building, we can get traffic, there are some points which we should follow, if I'm wrong then please correct me.

Try to use high level domain like .com (.com is though commercial however, it is still on the top level, I'm not talking about .edu or .gov, please exclude these two).

Try to post quality and fresh content regularly but not too much.

The main thing try to target long tail keywords which don't require any link building, you can find lots of long tail keywords if you give some time in keyword research.

Do on-page well, here mainly you have to title, description, keyword density, Image title etc.

Absolutely you would get good traffic if you have made effort considering these points.....

You will likely get ZERO traffic. No inbound links means no one (not even the search engines) will know it exists.

If you just want a site to place on a business card, I guess it's ok. But otherwise, you're wasting your time building a site that you do not plan to promote.

 

Making a new website is actually the worst option if you're trying to make money. In the long term it might pay off. However in the short term there are many better options available to you.

What I would seriously recommend doing before starting your own website is just think do you want to make money or own a website. If you want to make money then all I would suggest doing is some affiliate marketing on one of the many authority websites that allow people to submit content like Hubpages. It's alot better than building your own website.

 

just make your site with rich informative., u start getting traffic.

 

Promoting takes one 24 hours.. I suggest you to do some promotion and back linking to get traffic..

 

Content is still king, but with all the competitions in the internet right now I would spare at least an hour a day for optimization.
