a mistake i made and i am sure alot of others have made Is stay away from the cheap PPC, I ran a campaign and drove 25000 Visitors to this campaign, It generated close to $3000 i was stoked, 25 bucks for 25k hits and 3k income cant go wrong ... Boy was i wrong ended up the advertiser complained that hey would get a lot of request but no follow threw. After some research i discovered that If you have PPC traffic and don't receive from a good quality network, you may experience similar problems with many proper working networks. 'cause cheap PPC traffic is derived from porn sites, incent sites, personal servers, proxy sites with the help of some programs or from automatically surf sites. That kind of traffic is pretty bad and will be refused by any advertiser So just remember one simple rule .. Cheaper is not always better, Google & facebook may charge a lot more but your campaigns are getting people that are actually interested in it, Example Google & FB will return oldies to your anti age defying cream, as where these cheap ppc will send anyone from the selected region. last time i checked men in there 20's didn't give two craps about aging cream. To the experienced i know you already know this, this is for the newcomers so they don't have to learn be experience Regards
staying with the big 3 (google, yahoo, msn) will make sure you get the best quality traffic. Finding the perfect keywords is the hardest part.
yeap cheap traffic have a lot of problem. They give your a lot of traffic but not the quality. So better used well known PPC company which more targetted.
If you are a beginner, I say stay away from PPC until you know what you are doing. Do more free traffic ideas. Once you gain some revenue, then you have some room to spend money on PPC campaigns.
You can test with a second-part ppc search network such as 7search, extremely lower bids compared to the big 3.
i AGREE! with alex , but if you wanna try then always set small budget to your campaigns. like $50 is enough to test.
I suggest yahoo (and microsoft combined now) for beginner as there are more tolerant to mistakes made by beginners. Maybe beginners get banned in Google while try to figure out what to do.
I agree with John, 7search is great. GenieKnows, ABCsearch, Advertise.com, many more. Take some time to research PPC and the many different providers.
Look for PPC companies which are willing to use the latest trends to your advantage. Such things as social media websites have become enormously popular. If you are working with a company which regularly works with the most popular websites no matter where they might be, you will have a better chance of your content being put in front of the eyes of those who will want to click through to your website. Take some time to look at the sites the PPC company advertises on to get a feel for whether they are fresh enough to get you the results you are after. and Get a Company which Gets Results
I have heard good things about plenty of fish.com and have always had success with fb and google, but only google search not the content network because that is mostly tricky people doing adsense.
Yeah, adwords works pretty good for me as well. The biggest & best for volume and traffic quality, but the the most expensive bid, really not good for newbie marketers.
