Yeah, you can hide files in images pretty easily, so basically hide an internet shortcut to your site that is also instructed to open when the image is opened too. Wouldn't recommend it though, I guess it's a basic form of spyware which won't look good for your site. Just google something along the lines on "how to hide a file in an image".

Agree if it's done to deceive people - might be black hat??? However, some sites do show the company logo and clicking on this logo takes you to the site.

Depending on what you use as a CMS, you can simply put up an image-link that links to your website, SY

    Lol thanks for that :)

Anyway, if the image in question will be on your website, in a signature of yours or somewhere otherwise controlled by you, you can simply hyperlink it to your page. The method I described is only for a downloaded image and not one on the internet.

If you need more help, send me a PM buddy.

This seems like a pretty standard item of knowledge.

I do it all the time. On plenty of my pages, I prefer to have a photo take someone to another page, rather than a text link. Especially when I'm not sparing space for a paragraph.

One example is an ex-woodsman who has a site about his logging days and tree climbing books he sells. I just show his picture and link it to his website. Sometimes I put the letters "Click here" or similar right onto the image.

    yes, you can do it
    just learn basic HTML
it's not really "hiding", it's simply putting a link on a image

Yes, I don't see why on earth it will be seen as hiding - it's pretty much something that is done a lot. And remember that as well as people clicking on the picture to go to your website, you also get a backlink credited.

Of course, you can do that. In fact, many affiliate marketers put buttons that are nothing but an image :)

Yes, you can. Deffo read up on Wordpress as a CMS. I've only ever needed to use it.
