China the next evil superpower?

    Hi everyone,
I do not hate China or Chinese I think they are very nice and peaceful people.
Now the conversation is about China leadership not the people of China.

China today is communist country that does not care about human rights.
They build huge military power and in the next 10 years they will be superpower.
The last military might we can see is the J-20 stealth jet.
As you can see it's very similar to the F-35 that USA built and now selling worldwide.

China allies are: North-Korea, Iran, Sudan…
Show me your friends and I will know who you are…!
I am worry because we are financing China to become superpower. We buy everything from China because it cheep and in the end when they will be strong enough we will hear from them strongly.

China can be destroyed economically. They aren't a problem. If they decide to do "evil acts", I'm sure the World leaders would embargo China just like every "axis of evil". (Iran, N. Korea etc) They also have a lot of catch up to do with their military, most of their aircraft are ancient and there tanks are purely upgraded relics from the past.

Though China have not expressed any wish to cause unrest in the world, so I don't believe they will cause any trouble in the future. The reason they have a large military is because China is a very large area, to protect it, you need a large military; it has always been this way, even back when the Quin Dynasty existed. The only concern at the moment is Taiwan. With their military build-up, it puts the sovereignty of Taiwan at risk.

As for the J-20, it doesn't look that impressive and if you know Chinese goods, they might look good in theory, but when it comes to practise, they aren't so good in comparison to Western counterparts. It looks like a nice aircraft though.

Even more concerning is the D-21D anti-ship ballistic missile, which is capable of striking ships in the ocean near to 2,000 miles away. It is a good deterrent for any carrier groups who might want to aid Taiwan if it is indeed attacked by China.

I think you could be right. Hillary Clinton once said(in US cables) that China is their bank and how tough can you be against your bank?

China could stop trade in dollars and we would quickly see the US down to it's knees. This is nothing I wish to see but unless there is a major change in US foreign policy and welfare policy this is a likely scenario. The US are heavily in debt and one of the major lenders are China.

The same applies to EU but at a smaller scale. China is starting to buy up companies within the EU.

They already have a major influence on Africa and on all their natural resources.

They act clever and know time will help them.

We need to produce and sell more. We can't make money on air money(bailouts).

The Chinese seem way to addicted to capitalism to go evil. If they were militarizing, you would see them spend more than 2% of their GDP on arms. As a US citizen, I'm not too concerned even if they did go evil, but the rest of you are f*cked. Perhaps time to start spending money defending yourselves instead of leaving the US to pick up the tab.

    Military spending by nation

As far as the Chinese economy is concerned, everyone talked the same way about Japan in the 1990s. Its bubble will burst and their profits will normalize, especially once the fiscal socialists in their society start providing their input;). China's bailout of Spain shows you bankers need their customers as much as customers need their banks. Besides, the new US congress may not raise its debt ceiling which would quite literally put an instant end to borrowing from China, or anyone else. China would sh*t a brick if we quit asking to borrow.

Because a certain China keeps buying gold . The economic and resource war against China started almost 20 years ago . So far we're on the loosing side . We still have the undisputed superiority but that will not last long we go to sleep thinking that China is a friendly country .

Yep, and others put their savings in Gold. Historically this always happens before a major crash....but I've never seen Gold jump like this before.

I guess it's just a matter of whether you get your information from EndOfTheAmericanDream.com or TheStreet.com
Last I recall, this thread was about China's superpower status, not gold prices.

I just presented the facts and I think the fact that China buys gold as never before is very related to it's status as a superpower. Once again they act clever and look a bit further than most other states.

They act based on old principles but they fail to secure the main asset . Hopefully they won't figure it out before it's to late .

Romania has undisputed superiority, how did you achieve that with an army budget of about 3 billion dollar?
On the other hand if China ever attack Romania, their soldiers will have so much sex that they will lose all their will to fight. ;):D
