Google has been making me nervous lately as I've received two warning emails in the last 3 months or so because of something they found on one of my sites that was against the TOS. What really bugs me about this is they never give detailed info about what in the world I have done wrong. I have numerous web sites and the odds of me bringing up a red flag are a lot higher than someone with one web site. What bothers me is the anxiety of getting banned for good because of some content that I thought was ok, but someone else perhaps was offended by. How can you define what is offensive and not offensive? Some stuff is obvious, but if you had a hard core religious freak looking at about any site they could be offended by anything. So, Google...you have brought to the point now of looking for alternatives....as I assume one day you will ban me. I know there is the Yahoo publishing network and I've heard of something called Azoogle ads, and of course there are affiliate programs. Has anyone had success with something besides Google adsense? I'm afraid to say that currently all of my eggs are in the Google basket...and this makes it harder to sleep at night. Any suggestions are appreciated...
Here are some of my secrets! I will delete this post in 3 hours so too many people don't find out.... http://www.themostclicks.com/revenue1.html
Hi, If you are in United States you can try Yahoo Publsher Network They are awesoem otherwise you can try Clicksor Bidvertiser Saad
lol...or requotes you. Good advice so far, keep em' coming. Does anyone here use Shoemoney's ad thing? Google is great because they have such a massive ad inventory. They suck because of the anxiety they bring to publishers and their seemingly horrible appeal process...and when you do get red flagged they offer little or zero info on why you got flagged.
CPA promotions... you get paid per action or lead but a great alternative or additional source of revenue.
if you have a lot of unique visitors from USA popunders even from clicksor etc will help you to return 10-15% from old good times $ (before google baned you)
dont confuse pop under with pop up, its more discret. it should be tried depending on the type of website and ctr
