If you paid the $299 to get in the Yahoo Directory do you renew it next year? Is it really worth the money?

 

i hear that is the best directorie. bring lot of vistors and good quality traffic

I have a friend ho payd for yahoo and he is realy happy with his rankings now. I takes a wile to be aproved but he get full benefits from it. Good trafic and good rankings

 

yes its $300 annually, i think its worth it very much if u have a business doing $2k a month i think it will be well worth it.

 

Ohoo good for you wounded. If i had the money to i would join yahoo directory. But in the meentime ... Maybe one day.

 

I don't know about now. I have some sites that were permanently listed back around 2001 range that clearly got a great benefit, but an annual cost of $300 is questionable.

 

I think that for a small site like mine it will be a miracole in rankings. But still to expensive. But for a big site that is making money is a good deal.

There are a few things I take in to consideration before paying for a link in a directory, even Yahoo. One is to make sure my link will appear on the first page of the specified category. Yahoo only allows 20 links on each page of their directory, when your listing falls on the 2nd or 3rd page you are not getting the full benefit.

 

I think it is worth. You know, Yahoo started its original searching business with directories and it has good reputation that many people are still using yahoo as their information resource.

its nice directory but not free.Its provides to good traffics

 

As per my opinion, I think its not need to pay for yahoo directory.because its take all of the data of search engine listing from google. so submit your website in google or other search engine.

 

We seem to do ok without it. Submitted to their free listing almost 2 years ago... never got listed. However we are on DMOZ (WOOT!) and various other directories. We see some traffic form yahoo and bing, but almost everything comes from google
