At times there are some PM which are important for info but get auto deleted...

with a space of 1000, why can't we have the access to keep the old PM which contain important info for us.

    Why deleting them????

simply dload them as text when ever your period draws near. Its for your own good the siggy move :D
What I'd only like is the ability to search them, but I currently do not mind its absence

If you export them and save to gmail you can search to your hearts content.

    Haha :D

Or write a feed gatherer which uses HTTP protocol to log you in and download the list automatically and then slap it on your MFA blog. Why let free content go to waste?

Because storing everyones PMs indefinitely takes a lot of disk space when you let them have 1,000. If you move a PM to a custom folder, it will stay for 12 months BTW.
