I generally like minimalist websites. However, I think you need a nice graphic under the header on home page to give some visual relief to all the text - and also to tell the visitor what the site is about without having to search through the menu. Also, what are the benefits of using your directory - are you do follow?, how many links?, where can people place links? -- how long for approval?, etc...... Just landing on your site I would not have know it was an article directory. Also noticed that there was nothing in some of the links - but you are perhaps waiting on content.
The ads are a little overwhelming, I would remove the two ads that aren't in the header and add a right sidebar with ads. The right sidebar would also help contain the article preview text.
On the Google ads i would actually change the box color a little. that way the eyes will take notice if your main source of income is going to be the Google ads
Thank for all suggestion. I will add search menu asap. The benefits of article directory is free backlinks. In this site, author can place 3 outbound links in their content. At this time, all articles will auto approved. I have already wrote about it in Editorial Guidelines section. Thanks for your suggestion. Will remove one of them. Any idea what is the suitable color?
You should promptly check for submitted articles if they are unique and only should approve quality articles.
