Any idea what kind of people would be willing to affiliate with a web hosting company? I have a web hosting company called NotreHost.com offering packages from £1/month. But I'm not sure other hosting companies would be interested in affiliating with their competitors. LOL. Any idea how I could approach this? Thanks. http://www.notrehost.com Code (markup):
Bro why is your "Ultimate Hosting Plans " is limited to 5 GBs of web space and 10 GBs of transfer ? You are calling it unlimited right?
lol, the ultimate plan only costs you £3, of course you can't expect unlimited space, unmetered bandwidth, etc etc. to op, i don't think lots of people interested in affiliating cheap webhost because they'll get very little commission, not to mention most of the webhost affiliate programmes are either not paying or shaving. you should read more in cj section of this forum. even hostgator shaves lol
I know. I don't offer unlimited plans yet. And I don't like being this cheap. But I'm at the point where I'm offering people £1 a month hosting and they still want a free domain!!!! That's why I'm so cheap is because I'm trying to attract customers. To my disbelief they want it even cheaper!!! Lol!!!! I don't know what to do. I think they're just expecting more than they can get. I'm already one of the cheapest hosts on the web, my servers are extremely stable and extremely fast!! What more do people want?! I can't offer a free domain as I'd have to pay for it then. Which would work out more expensive than the hosting packages. Obviously I'll go bankrupt if I do that. Any advice on how I could be the best, but sensibly? If you know what I mean? I am however offering the first month of hosting absolutely free. I do think it's only the customers rights to try a service before they buy. Enter the code TRYME at checkout. ;
Offer atleast 10gb diskspace with 25gb bandwidth. Your current plans are expensive as compared to many well established companies.
I only have 50gb of disk space and 500gb bandwidth to give out. I'm a reseller. Seeing that I can't offer any more data. Perhaps you could suggest some new prices?
I've just shut down NotreHost.com I couldn't cope with all the demands. Sorry guys. I'm very new to web design. I'm an amateur. I would appreciate a little more support in the future. I'm not trying to tell you to sign up to my services, of course not. That's for you to decide. I am saying though that I would like more supportive comments in future, and less slaughtering ones. Instead of pointing out my mistakes, offer me helpful advice on how I could make things better. Posting all these nasty comments like some of you have...and I'll quote.... is really not going to help me become a better webmaster, is it? I'm 18 years old, and yes! I am rubbish! Yes, my skills at Photoshop are minimal, in fact next to none! I don't deny it! But please don't post comments like that. Instead offer me helpful advice. Help me get better.
