I've had this site for a few months now, I just don't have nearly enough time to work on or promote the thing. I bought the base script for $300 (plus a year of script support and some hosting) and I've put a good deal of work into it. There are still a couple kinks to work out, but nothing major. Anyone with some decent PHP knowledge will be able to manipulate this however they see fit. If you look online, most penny auction scripts that aren't complete junk go for up to as much as $2000.

    FEATURES:
    1. Features include the ability to clone multiple auctions, award free bids, award vouchers and much more.
    2. Not enough bidders? Use the auto-bidding feature. This is completely optional and up to the buyer to use. I personally don't use it, but I have tested that it works.
    3. Create & edit pages and newsletters seamlessly
    4. Interact with your users in real-time using the Content Management System.
    5. Update your website within seconds – no coding experience needed - PHP knowledge will be required to work out any script changes you may want
    6. Simple admin panel to log in and make any necessary changes/updates

    MORE:
    1. User registration and account verification with captcha.
    2. Paying per bid and the price increasing by a set amount.
    3. The time increasing by x number of seconds every time a bid is placed.
    4. The ability for members to login, update their account, purchase more bids and pay for their won auctions.
    5. Paypal as the payment gateway.
    6. Ability to give users free bids. Let your users receive free bids for registering, winning their first auction and for buying bid packages for the first time.
    7. Add, edit, delete and clone auctions.
    8. Full product inventory
    9. WYSIWYG Editor – no coding knowledge required!
    10. View the winning bidder and update the status of the auction – e.g. pending, running, ended and completed.
    11. View, edit, add, delete and suspend users.
    12. View users bidding history, purchased bid packages, add free bids to the user and refund bids for the user.
    13. Manage the entire website content anywhere in the world with an internet connection
    14. Manage the website categories, add, edit and delete new categories, which can be unlimited levels deep.
    15. Edit general website settings including turning on and off various features at a click of a button.
    16. Powerful Bid Butler (automated bidding system) – the ability for users to ‘book their bids’ in advance.
    17. Setup shipping charges per product or give your users free shipping
    18. Auction Bid Packs
    19. Generate Comprehensive Custom Reports
    20. Check Financial Reports, Profit/Loss Reports and more
    21. Secure Paypal Transactions
    22. Newsletter system

    WHAT YOU GET:
    - The bidding script + unique design + domain name registered for 3 years
    - I have a VPS through burst.net and I can transfer the host to you so you will not have to set up or install a single thing. Hosting cost for the VPS is $9.99 per month and already has Kloxo set up, as well as email a two email addresses set up.
    - I am available for limited help at any time. My knowledge isn't too great, but I may be able to handle some questions.
    - All content - includes $25 worth of logo designs, 10-20 different items with descriptions and images

As an added bonus, a friend of mine is willing to help with some advertising and administration free of charge if desired.

**Before you buy, be sure to know that this is a time-consuming venture, with a possibility of making loads of money or failing miserably, depending on the effort you put into it. That is where I have faltered. I just didn't have the time or know-how to do everything I wanted to do.**

Feel free to contact me via PM with any questions/clarification.

    Thanks!

This is an issue that we are actively working on. This is definitely a false positive, but we're not quite sure what exactly is throwing the error. Any virus scan logs would be welcome. I've scanned this with a couple different types of antivirus software and have come up with nothing.

Thank you for the information. I'll edit this post once we get the fix in place.

It's been one month since this page has been bumped. I think I read somewhere that threads are allowed to bump once a month. If not, I apologize.

    Just a couple updates:

The false positive issue has been corrected. It was just a little snippet of code that was throwing a detection. This was only occurring in a couple scanners. Since the code was changed, there haven't been any detections.

I also just wanted to offer the chance to try out the admin panel for interested buyers. Just let me know, and I would be more than happy to show you around it.

My price is flexible, although I'd like to get my asking price. Just let me know what you think it's worth.

    Thanks!

Do you have an instant messenger? It'd be much easier to walk you through how it all works via IM.

It's running a custom script. Custom is where the money is, even if it isn't perfect, it doesn't look exactly like every other site out there. Most of the details are in the first post, but please let me know if you have any specific questions.
