Do you share?

Do you share the same computer with your other family members. If yes then kindly let me know whether you have divided a fixed time of working for each other or is there any other working method you have adopted within your family members in order to enjoy your dedicated time of working on the computer. Please comment on this view of thought.

I believe Anthonyn simply wants to socialize and bearing in mind the crappy posts in other forums around this area, I don't see anything wrong with his questions, though we wait he contributes with other (no-chit-chat) posts in different forums.

I don't share my computer, but ocassionally my router because my sister has no wireless device to get into the Internet

I don't like to share computers. Its annoying when you want to play online games and your wife is doing her work. Work always has precedence over gaming.

So I bought a new pc for myself and gave my wife the old one.

There are four of us in my family and we've got three PC's and two laptops. The challenge for us is that my youngest son has the most demands for a high spec PC because he plays games on his machine, but I need to have the best and newest machine to do my work. Working out how to upgrade so that nobody gets jealous is really tricky.

My wife gets to check her MySpace when I get up to pee. And sometimes when I make myself a sammich.

So if your wife wants to use the computer more she just has to slip an industrial strength diuretic into your drinks :)

Nah, she usually just says "Go make me a sammich" and when I get up she takes my seat. I fall for it every time.

yes, ofcourse I have to share it with my brother, 50:50. It all depends on each others moods, who wants to do when, and the urgency of the work.
