Do we need a new Google?

I've just read a post about Google now being cluttered with adverts and links to sites that ask you to take a survey before you get to any content. Google is also full of bots trying to get to the number 1 spot for a search. All of this begs the question, do we need a new Google/Google rival without all of the litter?

Google is the least cluttered. And it gets you to the most relevant information. Google is the best thing that's happened to webmasters.

Google is full of bots trying to get #1 in search. However, the best SEOs know that good content converts better than spam. More profitable websites have bigger budgets for link building.. the cream still rises to the top, no matter how many cups of coffee you pour.

The backlinks-based algorithm also helps you find the most relevant content, and allows you to find the new content you are looking for. No other engine is even close at the moment, and the fact is the internet is so large, it will always have to be done algorithmically, meaning it is open for manipulation.

When a new google is needed it will come. At the moment there are some great companies trying but still it is hard to beat a multi billion dollar company.

It is also easier for us if there is just one releastic search engine to target.

Google is actually better search engine rather than Yahoo or Bing. So we don't need new google. It just recently showing irrelevant result.

After Bing being unmasked for copying Google search results, we need a new Bing rather than a new Google. Or, specifically a company that can compete with them and improve them rather than just copying them.

Google isn't going anywhere. While it may lose some ground in the future to Bing it will be the dominant search engine for years to come.
