I read on digitalpoint and on some other sites that Google finishes its exclusive rights to Pagerank in 2011.Will Google renew rights or Pagerank factor will stop?
If Pagerank factor will stop functioning, then people who sell links on Pagerank domains or sell Pagerank domains will we without work. Some people family depends on the Pagerank buisness.I hope Google renews Exlcusive rights to Pagerank and Pagerank factor continues to be in futher coming years.

Well how do you know that nobody knows that nobody knows? Are you the boss of a Google employee that doesnt know?

But as far was what you said im not sure, as you know its been a big topic the past few months on what the hell is going on with Page Rank. Everyone seems to have their own opinion (and their are 500 different stories on whats happening and whats going to happen) Better just sit and wait and see, then listening to rumors

I'm amazed at how hyped out everyone is getting. Must be a lot of link selling on DP! But yeah, I hope it updates within the next 48 hours, that's what a lot of webmasters are hoping for.

I will be happy if Google stop this PR ranking system... It only create an unhealthy competition and web spamming.
But, Its all upon Google to decide.

Pagerank is their critical patent and I do not think they would stop renewing it. However I do not mind if pagerank will be gone. :)

I don't think Google really gives a rats ass if people are "making a living" off selling high PR links. If they stop the PR thats on them, tuff shit, tuff world. I mean if your making your living by selling $50 per year PR6 links, then I think you should look for another job or go to college.

I can't believe how many are crying that PageRank going away is going to hurt businesses and families. This has been my whole argument for months on why PageRank is dead (for the SEO side). Google will not let the patent expire, and I do think they will still use it in their Algo's, but I don't see them "sharing" it through the brower anymore. The typical internet user has no clue or care about PageRank - only SEO and webmasters use it, and what for? SPAMMING AND SELLING LINKS ONLY.

From the beginning I don't think google ever had the thought that changing PR of a site would increase/decrease the value of websites by thousands, ten's of thousands, and if you could reach 8 or 9 maybe 100's of thousands of dollars. Website value being determined by PR is ludicrous, and I personally think google is done with this.

Just my 2 cents, we'll see if I am wrong in a few days....

If google step up PR, another metric maybe from google or maybe from another company will be used to measure the value of websites. So, you WILL continue gaining money and supporting your family.
