you can monetize your twitter using twittad, ad.ly, mylikes etc just googling

Step 1. Create a Twitter account with the long tail keyword of the product or service your selling.
Step 2. Create a Squidoo lens with a good article that addresses the problem of what your buyer would be trying to solve.
Step 3. Add your affiliate link or "buy" button in your lens.
Step 4. Write a SEO article about your product or service listing how it will solve the buyers problem and submit to article
directory with a link to your lens.
Step 5. Follow the top gurus for your niche and their followers to build a list of 500- 1000.
Step 6. Send out 6 or 7 tweets of good quality info regarding your product or service before tweeting your link to your lens.
Step 7. Send out a tweet with a link to your lens.
Step 8. Rinse and repeat.
