If you haven't already, submit it to every search directory you can find. Once you're done with that, make some kind of program that integrates Twitter/Facebook and watch your traffic grow slowly.

If you haven't already, you may try to get your website included in Google News as well.

 

Most of my traffic comes from Yahoo, Google, Facebook, Twitter, or direct url. It's all organic I don't pay for any of it.

 

It never hurts to try other ways to get traffic. I found google image ads a great way to get lots of traffic very cheaply. Its also good for getting free brand advertising.

I've never used Google AdWords heard they are overpriced. Anyone have any good experiences with it?

 

For organic traffic my honest advice to you is to continue focusing your efforts and time on FREE SIMPLE traffic methods. The top three for me are:

1. Forum marketing - since your niche is "Stock trading" then stock trading/brokers forums is where you should be 24/7, 365 days a year! Just be active, positive, and provide value in all your responses and questions. Oddly enough this will get people clicking your signature link, singing up to your opt-in page, and eventually purchasing your product or an affiliate product you promote.

2. Article marketing - I know, know...everyone is saying it's not working and not effective anymore but truth is it still WORKS and is free.

Just focus on submitting ONE article a day to Ezinearticles.com FIRST, wait for it to be approved, and then submit that same article (with a little rephrasing to avoid having Google think it's duplicate content, which will bring your search engine rankings lower) to goarticles and articlesbase.

3. Blog commenting - Go on the TOP blogs in your niche and be the FIRST to comment on a blog post, making sure your comment is valuable and contributes to the post. Use iGoogle and Google Reader to keep you up to date on the latest posts from the TOP blogs so you'll be one of the first to know and one of the first to comment.

As for Google Adwords I've made some profit with it, but also lost money. Follow a mentor, someone's who been successful at it and do exactly what they did. Don't mess around with PPC if you don't know what the hell you're doing because you'll waste a lot of time and money.

Wow, you have got decent traffic to your site. Have you considered ads swap with other websites with similar traffic volume.

I think you have got enough traffic to do serious swaps with ezine or newsletter publishers too. (By swap i mean advertise for each other without cost to increase traffic / subscriber base).

 

YoUTube I am trying to learn how best to use it as a source of traffic.

 

Why not try some type of weekly news video hitting up on all the top stories or stock tips from the week.

But how many email addresses do you pull in with the optin box on your site?
That could stand out a little more to get people to optin to your mailing list.

 

1. Create 3 short, 5 minute videos a week with a valuable tip in each one
2. Create your own blog and post the Youtube video.
3. Be sure to put your keyword/keywords in your "description box"
4. Post the video on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc. with a link
to your squeeze page as a means to capture their name and email.
5. At the end of each of your videos, remind your viewers to “Subscribe’ to your Youtube
Channel so that you can then be able to add them onto your email list.

This will get you ranked on the major search engines, because they love videos and rank them very high! You'll easily be able to beat out other articles and some blogs
