This is quite stupid a refund policy for file host especially if you have 30 days to cancel your payment.
I dont know under what conditions they made refund but this is just an open door to fraud , people will buy 1 month premium and after 20 days they cancel and buy another one and so on.
Fortunatly there isnt lot of people who are aware of this at the moment but its sure that we will just see more and more refund in the future as people will be aware of this.

Filesonic is the best but only need 2 changes:
-no refund policy (both filesonic and affilitates lose money)
-and payment for rebills ( only affiliates are losing money so I doubt filesonic will ever take this into consideration)

Filesonic is making lot of "minor" improvement recently, this is good but these 2 points are the most important n my opinion

 

uploading.com has just added pay per premium sales as an alternative partner program to pay per download..
and in their news, I read following text

do I miss something ? They say they don't decrease earnings if a refund happends.. Though I had very few refunds on my account, I wish filesonic could find the same way uploading.com does..
and some other major sites have sms-payments.. I don't know if it works well but does Filesonic consider sms payments soon ?

 

i agree.. hope hish/IT will consider this

atleast make refund available only within 5/6 days and bring commission for rebills

When you see a refund, it's not one that FileSonic has granted; it has been granted by the credit card processing company or Paypal. If WE issue a refund willingly, it does not count against the affiliate. A lot of times, these refunds are chargebacks and/or transactions made with fraudulent credit cards / Paypal accounts.

Charging a refund back to an affiliate is standard policy in any major PPS affiliate program, and it shouldn't be different in file sharing. This is necessary to deter credit card fraud, or else we'd be opening the doors for people to run stolen credit card databases on our site and get paid for them.

Ok, then its different, I thought it were refund on filesonic's side , if its because a fraudlent card or account then there isnt much things Filesonic could do. And it only happened a vey few times to me about 3-4 max in 3 month with filesonic so not a really big deal ( but it all happened in 2 consecutive days )

And any chance you count rebills for affiliates in the future ??

 

oh.. thanks for making it clear. i have no objection against refund if its charge backed from FSC

 

lot of files deleted today (due to copyright infringement ) , both me and filesonic lose money, because my account in pps.

 

My question is for the pay per download plan, how much do you really pay per download?
Is it per X amount of downloads or what? Thanks.

 

Even if you had hundred of sales everyday from your files , if there is a copyright complain all filehost have to delete the files , I know its annoying I also often have lot of files deleted but thats's how the DCMA works

May I request a styling customization ?

I want to share folder links.. but style in public link looks complicated to me.. especially when I have descriptions or long names for the files..

just like in "Manage Files" section in our admin area, can't you do the same for public folders as well ?

I've used firebug and styled your public link inspring from "Manage Files" section.. here to compare them..
