I went to my google adwords account the other day to get a tracking code for a new website I was setting up and at the top of my account, in a red box it said "Your account has been permanently suspended for terms violations" I have not ran ads on adwords in over a year and the campaigns I had in the past were ones I wrote when I was new to adword so I'm sure I had mistakes but I was not trying to run the ones that were disapproved, I just never bothered to rewrite them to conform to their tos. I guess I should have deleted them but I did not consider it an issue since I was not running them. I don't plan on using adwords anytime soon but I sure don't want my account suspended, what steps should I take to get it reinstated.
I have got this warning my all accounts for 20 day too. But i dont know how to improve. I m just waiting new year.
AdWords support is usually pretty good, so just contact them. They naturally staff that area of their business with real people, because that's the side of their business where they make all the money. The only other thing would be do 'reconsideration request' from webmaster tools, but that's only if your whole site gets banned.
If you don't get your account re-instated then consider trying Facebook Ads. This is fast becoming a real competitor to Google Adwords and, at the moment, is not quite as bogged down by rules and regulations.
Yes, the list of google alternatives is growing everyday. I may give Bing a try if I ever decide to do ppc again. I'm going to focus on seo and natural traffic for now.
If you are permanently suspended, it is not likely to get your account reinstated. Even if you think you did no wrong, contacting customer support will not help but you can give it a shot. Just search "Adwords banned" and you will see thousands of ex-PPC marketers complaining. Unfortunately, Bing's traffic is still little.
Same thing happened to me. I haven't run an active campaign for nine months, but got banned. I have contacted google and they say it is a permanent thing and wouldn't go into any detail on the actual problem.
I have tried hard to please google but I'm tired of walking on egg shells. One thing I have come to realize is that google is just a website and the owners are just people, not gods. I'm not going to worry about it anymore. This is just a hobby for me anyway, if anything becomes of it then fine, if not then I've had fun trying.
