So, let me ask u the question again, doesn't submitting my sites link to these directories, affect Google PR ?? in other way, is it good / safe to submit my website to these directories ??

Ref to main thread topic, @php.freak asked for directories to increase the PR and this is the answer for my question !!

 

Always try to use a healthy mix of marketing activities. Don't only submit to directories but combine with social media marketing and linkbuilding on topic sites for example.

 

Well, at least I missed announcement telling us that having backlinks is bad, then....
The whole idea having backlinks is to effect Google's PR if that is what you care about.

For me SERP matters more than PR but that is me.
