    The google ads on this site don't show the 'Ads by gooooooogle' tag or the advertising sites URL - is this somebody being overyly creative against the TOS or is it benefit of being a premium adsense partner

    How do you tell if someone is a premium partner..?

    No, this is not a so-called premium publisher nor would a premium publisher be able to label an ad as a "resource". I think they're using a DIV to cover up the Google branding text.

    Stay away from this crap!

    If Google sees that, they'll be toast for sure. I don't recommend copying them.

    The DIV tag has nothing to do with it.

    Just viewed the source code of the website. He/she has just modified the source code so the ad width under google_ad_width doesn't match up with the one in google_ad_format, therefore eliminating the "Ads by Gooooogle".

    google_ad_width = 234;
    google_ad_height = 60;
    google_ad_format = "468x60_as";

    Oh, I didn't look at the source. Thanks for pointing that out. ;)

    Either way, stay away from modifying the code unless you have permission.
