Yes, it against google TOS, unless the other ads are like chitika which IMO doesn't violate google TOS

Talk to the webmaster of that site and notify him of these violations (I know these are intentional) and if he shows attitude then report it to Google.

Hello, I have recently taken over as webmaster for myspacelayoutsupport.com and came across this post. It is certainly not the intention of the site owner to be in violation of any TOS for the ads displayed.

My understanding is that a Google Adsense banner image ad can be placed on the same page as YPN ads without violating the TOS, but I'd be glad to replace the image ad with something else if it is indeed a violation. Any clarification you can provide would be very helpful.

As for the AdBrite text links, those are paid links rather than contextual ads. I've just read through the Google TOS again and paid links appear to be acceptable.

The "We're 100% ad supported" text has been removed. I agree that it could be argued as a violation and is unacceptable. I frankly hadn't really paid any attention to the text before and am still getting acquainted with the site's content and structure. I have also reviewed and made changes to the "show-love.php" page.

Let me know if anything else appears to be a potential problem.

    Best wishes,
    James

    Hello and welcome here supportomatic.

I am glad that you took the right decision. I believe it when you say that it wasn't your intention to do that though this cannot be said about the previous owner of that website.

Now regarding your question on YPN and Adsense on the same page; Yes, it is a violation. I would get Google's approval on adbrite before implementing the ads on the page, if I were you. As far as my understanding goes, adbrite's paid ads do not mimic to be google's and therefore are not violating the TOS on that page in question.

    I only see YPN ads.

If you have both accounts it is good to use YPN than Google.

combining on the same page is NO NO.

You can have one on one page and the other on the other page.

I red doing so will give more free ads as the spyder get confused.

    Any comments are welcome.

Many thanks for the input. I killed the Google banner just to be on the safe side. Very, very little income from it anyway and not worth the risk. I put up some filler in its place for now... Any thoughts on other CPC or CPM banner content to use?

Going to run with AdBrite as-is for now. Again, not a big revenue producer anyway...

From a SEO perspective, does anyone see pros/cons of the temporary banner keyword content? Trying to be relevant w/out being spammy...
