It sucks what's going on right now. But North Korea is a tough issue. They have 17,000 artillery pieces pointing toward the South. There is no bargaining leverage, but to just keep giving them aid.

What happens when ol' Kimmy dies and his son takes control, I don't know, but what I hope is that the whole communism ideology changes and everything disrupts in the North and perhaps people who aren't so brainwashed in that country will stand up and fight. Though I'm all too comfortable saying this from a cosy warm room where I don't have to worry about going into a concentration camp.

    MAJOR LOLZ!!!

They managed the transition from Kim il Sung to Kim Jing il almost seamlessly. I don't see any reason why this would be different.

Living off the labor of others is just too appealing for many humans.

Prior to your birth, which I am guessing was not more than a decade ago, Iraq was quite a threat to her neighbors and continued to be until they were liberated.

Iraq had the 4th largest army in the world before Saddam pushed the U.S. just a wee bit too far.

As Lieutenant General Tom Kelly quipped, "Iraq went from the fourth-largest army in the world to the second-largest army in Iraq in 100 hours."

This coming from a guy who lives in a place where they buy used defunct subs from post cold war Russia.... Well you do live under the protective shield of the US, so I guess I can understand why you are so complacent. ;)

Just image if such power (American have) was in hand of Saddam or Taliban and Al-Qaeda, then you would see what could happened.
we have a proverb: "God knows donkey to didn't let it has horn"

be fair Gworld. Germans were civilized people but you saw what Hitler done. so with such power could call Amercan, decent persons I guess.

Perhaps the demise of your previous enemy has clouded your reasoning, the Iraqi war was contrived by political fanatics that used the US Military in no different a fashion than the Germans as an unnecessary aggression on a virtually unarmed, sovereign nation.

The fools predicted total victory in 3 months with a maximum 60 billion budget. What they became responsible for was an economy driven to near complete collapse, their party deservedly driven from power and a war lasting 10 years plus.

The idiots equating the military prowess to size are the same ones likewise defeated by a 3rd world gun and boots militia in South East Asia.

Be nice to babak, the guy is just a young fool that doesn't even know his own country as I showed here but pretends to know other countries and cultures that he has never seen or experienced.

LoL. Breeze thinks Vietnam was run by Republicans. Back to the garden Breeze. In case you hadn't noticed, who was in charge isn't the only difference between Vietnam and Iraq. I got to hand it to the Democrats and Obama though, they almost legislated defeat. Almost.

yeah I hated Saddam regimen and scared of it.

I guess our governments totally agree with you.
I'm glad you dislike fanatic persons!

and what was the reason of economy collapse in other parts of the world?

Don't want to justify what American done in Vietnam and talk about cause of that war, but I guess American lost that war mostly because of public opinions that you can't imagine it for Hitler I guess.
